It’s quite common in this day and age to have been on at least one diet in the hope of losing weight. Usually one diet, leads to another and another and another. We can then land ourselves in a place where we really aren’t sure what to do when it comes to food and eating. The good news is, there is a way to get back to a more peaceful place with food and eating.
It’s called Intuitive Eating, it’s a self-care eating framework developed by Evelyn Tribole and Elyse Resch (https://www.intuitiveeating.org/). Intuitive Eating aims to help people reconnect with their bodies in order to eat, move and care for yourself from a place of trust, respect and kindness.
The first sign that you are ready for Intuitive Eating? You are DONE with DIETS! You know DIETS DON’T WORK, but what else is there? It can be really hard to know how to look after your health if all you know is diets.
Support with intuitive eating looks kinda the same, but kinda different for everyone. Your relationship with food and your body is unique to you. We unpack where you are in your journey, where you want to go and how we will go about getting there, together. Think of me as a guide to support, teach and listen along the way. The journey, like bodies, is different for everyone.
Intuitive Eating is evidenced based, and helpful for people across all ages to honor physical and mental health. We incorporate Intuitive Eating into your health, as it is today.
